Born and raised in South Florida, Gladys has made great strides in taking on the AV industry since getting her feet wet as an AV tech during her undergrad education at the University of Florida. Eventually managing the AV live events department at UF, she was able to gain experience that would help her grow into the AV professional she is today. After her roadie-like work, she dived headfirst into the consulting side of the AV industry via Waveguide LLC, and never looked back. She is currently an AV consultant for Newcomb & Boyd and focuses on corporate and higher ed environments. With a passion and specialization in psychology, she hopes to bring a new approach to understanding how users experience technologies in the workplace and in higher ed.
