Oscar Fernandez is the Vice President of Technology Solutions at the NY Mets reporting to their CTO Mark Brubaker, Oscar is responsible for all fan engagement technology solutions in the venue as well as corporate solutions for all business departments at the Mets. He played a leadership role in the broader team that led the Samsung Digital Display Transformation and Control Room projects at Citi Field that launched for the 2022 season and continues on for next season.
Prior to joining the NY Mets Oscar was the Vice President of Analytics & Insights at Legends Hospitality & Sales LLC. His other experience includes being Senior Director of Enterprise Solutions and Application Development at the NFL, where he led a team of technologists to deliver custom solutions related to internal NFL business areas as well as Super Bowl accreditation platforms. Oscar also spent several years at Major League Baseball leading analytics initiatives and software engineering efforts in support of baseball arbitration, player contract evaluation, player draft and scouting systems, special events such as the All-Star game and World Baseball Classic, merchandise licensing, royalties and player injury/health tracking systems.
