George Chacko has worked in the educational technology and AV space for 20+ years. He is currently the Director of Educational Media at Pace University and is responsible for developing, designing and implementation of technology enhanced classrooms, event spaces, digital signage, and other educational tools for the university. He played a critical role in the hyflex/hybrid/remote teaching and learning revolution at Pace University, and most recently he has worked on the renovation and redesign of classrooms, event spaces and conference rooms for several new buildings on the NYC campus.
As part of leading the Educational Media staff across 3 campuses, George has worked hard to drive a culture of innovation with a focus on excellent customer service. He is a creative thinker, an active contributor to the AV industry and host of the tech podcast Cables, Coffee, and Curveballs. He also serves on the board as Co-President to NextLVL learning and as past president to ETC, association of technologists in higher education.
George is a graduate of Pace University with a MS in Internet Technology and a BA in information System with a minor in Business. A Certified Technology Specialist™ (CTS®), a Crestron DM Certified Engineer –4K (DMC-E-4K) and a Crestron DM Certified Designer –4K (DMC-D-4K).
