Tim Van Woeart, CTS is an Instructional Technology Specialist with Rutgers University – Academic Technology Services. His duties include managing classroom projects, troubleshooting and repairing advanced technical issues, and conducting preventative maintenance repairs for the classrooms. Tim also assists in the management of major projects at the Newark, NJ campus. Tim is also the Host of The AV Life Podcast and is the Program Chair and founding steering committee member for HETMA (Higher Education Technology Managers Alliance). Prior to joining the Rutgers team, Tim spent four years with Fairleigh Dickinson University in their Office of Academic Technology providing support to their faculty and the technology in the classrooms they use. Tim prides himself on always being involved with technology since he was a child and continues to be fascinated by the ever-evolving nature of educational technology. Tim has a BS in Communications and Media from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
