Keynote: Break the Rules, Build the Future, Imagine

Walt Disney created the concept of a Theme Park and Walt Disney Imagineering is continually inventing its future. Disney Imagineers take advantage of technology or invent technology needed to tell new, compelling, and immersive stories.

Recently retired, Greg Kadorian worked for Walt Disney Imagineering for more than 30 years. At Imagineering he received a patent for Star Tours and developed many of the audio and video technologies in use at Disney Theme Parks worldwide.

Join us as Kadorian takes a look at the evolution of audio and visual/video technology in use at Walt Disney Theme Parks, starting with the original Disneyland in Anaheim to the latest rides and attractions worldwide. What have been enabling technologies and what will be future enabling technologies helping Imagineers tell stories that entertain and educate?

“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” Walt Disney
